
The founder, Stephen Johnson from
Baltimore, Maryland, has been in the sports field for 30 years as a
professional scout, player, high school coach, Kelly Post Legion coach,
college coach, recruiter, baseball/sports camp instructor, sports camp
director, unit director Boys’ & Girls’ Club, honored alumnus Boys’ & Girls’
Clubs of America, sports trainer, sports film consultant, USTA Instructor
and lifetime member and presently sits on six executive boards for
professional, amateur and youth associations.
He is also the
founder of a total of 50 leagues and teams that resulted in 10 championship
teams, three Coach-of-the-Year Awards, plus a National
Coach-of-the-Year Award (1989). In 1994 he founded the Maryland AAU
Baseball Leagues and tournaments. In

State Association of Baseball Coaches Service To Baseball Award
◄ in February 2001.
The hard work was
done in two states and Europe. He has made many contacts along the way and
assisted over 500 athletes in all sports to get noticed, signed and moved
into both the college ranks and professional sports. Stephen has started
many programs for children and free sports clinics in the community and
Mid-Atlantic region. He has also donated over $10,000 worth of equipment and
money to needy kids.
Just recently
(1999), his Smart Hoops for Children Prevention Game won an award for
helping youth to become aware and learn of the dangers of drugs.

Most recently,
Stephen was awarded the Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches 2001
Service to Baseball Award. In April of 2001 Founder of the annual
free Baltimore City Rec. & Parks Baseball Clinics.
The beginning of 2002
Washington D.C. called to recognize Stephen with a Humanitarian award. On
March 21, 2002 was awarded a Executive Citation Achievement Award from
Baltimore County for many years working with troubled youth and starting
positive & productive recreational activities.
